OKAH is proud to offer digital radiography. This state-of-the-art technology allows us to take and process X-ray images in-house, in a matter of minutes. With improved speed and image quality, digital x-rays improve our ability to diagnose and treat critical patients quickly. It also allows us to forward images to specialists for second opinions, as needed.
Our pets are adept at hiding illnesses and injuries they may have. Because of this, we use state of the art laboratory equipment to get an inside picture of what your pet isn’t showing on the outside. In our in-house laboratory, we perform tests on blood, urine and feces obtaining same day results. For tests that we don’t run in house, we use a reference lab.
For our surgical patients, we perform on site blood work to check liver and kidney function before administering anesthesia.
